How To Invite Your Friends To Like Your Page

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to invite your friends to like your Facebook page!

ON DESKTOP:

Step 1: Navigate to your business page. Your screen will look something like this:

Step 2: Locate the ellipsis (the three dots next to the search bar)

Step 3: Click on the ellipsis to display the options and select “Invite Friends.”

Step 4: Select the people you want to invite, or click “Select All.”

Facebook gives you several options here - you can:

• Invite specific friends

• Invite friends who haven’t yet been invited to like the page

• See friends who have been invited to like the page

• Send a PM (Private Message) to each person

(Sending a PM to your friends adds a nice personal touch, but it’s not required.)

ON A MOBILE DEVICE:

Step 1: Search for your page using the search bar.

Step 2: Tap on the page’s name

Step 3: Tap on “Community” (You may have to scroll sideways to find “Community” on some pages.)

Step 4: Select “Invite Friends”

Step 5:“Select All” or invite friends individually using the check boxes, much like the desktop version above.

Step 6: Press “Send Invites” once you have selected all the friends you’d like to send invites to.

Step 7: Make sure it went through - you’ll see a gray bar towards the bottom of the screen that says “Invites Sent” if it was processed correctly.

Inviting your friends to like your Facebook page is a great way to spread the word about your new venture! Always remember though: it’s not about how many likes you can get - it’s about VALUABLE likes. If you have 10,000 page follows and likes but only 20 people are reacting to your posts consistently, putting the work in to get those 10,000 followers was a waste of time. Aim for your target demographics and feed them!
